My Instant pot doesn’t have a sealable lid. Only a glass lid. How long do It cook 3 large chicken breasts in 1 cup of liquid and at what temperature

10 minutes is too long for any but very thick breasts. The chicken was dry and overcooked.

I recently tried this recipe. My chicken breast was frozen and approximately one pound (package was 3 pounds & there were 3 in the bag). I picked 20 minutes for the time for a single chicken breast. I didn’t care if it was overcooked because it was for chicken salad. Not overcooked at all. It was perfect. Thank you for the recipe guidance.

My poor dogs have been sick so I am feeding them chicken and rice. I have used this recipe twice to cook singular frozen chicken breasts and it turns out perfect. I also cook my rice in thr instant pot (separately). Thabk you!!

Absolutely false…rubbery chicken is OVERCOOKED, not undercooked.

I have been using a similar recipe to cook frozen chicken breasts that are individually frozen and not stuck together, placed in an even layer. I’ve tried cooking them for 12 min, 14-15 min and natural release anywhere from 10-30 min and they still come out chewy. What am I doing wrong? Please help!!

Sorry to hear that! I don’t know that cooking it longer will help, but you are certainly welcome to experiment with it! In my experience, chicken is dry in the Instant Pot when it is overcooked, and cooking longer doesn’t necessary help (unlike the slow cooker). Hopefully a good sauce can help, otherwise!
